ARIA Music Award winner Anthony Callea is no stranger to Australian audiences as one of the country’s finest and most recognised singers.

The powerhouse vocalist released his much anticipated 8th studio album FORTY LOVE in 2022. This album marks Anthony’s 40th Birthday and to celebrate the album’s release, he performed an exclusive one night only live show in Melbourne to a sold out crowd.

More than a decade after one of Australia’s most memorable TV performances, Anthony Callea continued to notch up successes. ‘ARIA Number 1 Hits in Symphony’ (Recorded with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra) debuted at #1 on the ARIA charts which saw him join the elite ranks of Australian music’s royal family – John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Keith Urban and The John Butler Trio – as the only Australian artist to have had three of more albums debut at #1 in ARIA chart history. The Prayer remains the fastest selling single title of all time.

2020 saw Anthony share new self-penned music and “Shadows” was an intimate glimpse into life in the spotlight. Written by Anthony Callea, Liam Quinn and Ned Philpot, “Shadows” showcases trademark Callea vocal brilliance whilst delving into the deep questions all of us face in relationships. “Shadows" tells the story of the struggle’s relationships have as years go by and keeping that spark alive. Quinn’s moody, pop production lets the vocal shine whilst taking the listener on a journey of self reflection filled with pop hooks and soaring melodies. “Shadows” followed the brilliance of “Lonely” which debuted at #1 on the AIR charts as well as “Shadows” which also debuted at #1 on the AIR charts!

2020 did not stop Anthony in delivering exciting releases and December saw Anthony team up with one of Australia’s powerhouse vocalists, Neighbours star and Masked Singer winner, Bonnie Anderson for a fresh summer take on Janet Jackson’s #1 Billboard hit, TOGETHER AGAIN! This summer anthem smashed the iTunes Charts within the first 48hrs peaking at #2 and again debuting at #1 on the AIR charts.

After a very different and challenging 2020 that has affected the entire country and the world with the COVID-19 pandemic, Anthony was beyond excited to be finally hitting the stage once again in 2021 on his the TOGETHER AGAIN Tour

Going back, it was in 2004 that Australian audiences first felt the powerful voice of Anthony. From that history making and one of Australia’s most memorable TV performance’s on Australian Idol came his #1 debut single release, The Prayer, which swelled the heart of the nation. The Prayer became Australia’s fastest and highest selling single of all time and continued with a string of multi-platinum and chart-topping releases.

Anthony headlines his own national tours regularly, but has also had the privilege of touring with Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Westlife. To add to this list of honours, Anthony has also performed by special invitation for Luciano Pavarotti, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark.

Anthony’s collected numerous awards to date, including an ARIA Music award for Highest Selling Single, three further ARIA Music nominations, Channel V Artist of the Year, Pop Republic Artist of the Year, MTV Viewer’s Choice Award, Variety’s Young Entertainer of the Year, MO Award, Dolly Teen Choice Award and a Gospel Music Award.
